Step by step
Pick a space at least one and a half car lengths, and signal before you slow down.
The technique doesn't change — just which shoulder you check. Wheel left, and reverse to forty-five degrees.
Now swing the wheel back the other way and keep reversing, so the front comes in last.
Straighten the wheels and edge forward to center yourself between the two cars.
