- Stalling somewhere that put the car in danger

What the examiner checks
- Keeping control of the vehicle at all times
- Staying in your lane without weaving
- Yielding to other vehicles and to pedestrians

- Staying on the correct side of the road
Drive tests are by appointment and you need 80% or better to pass. None are given between 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. or within an hour of closing. If you fail you cannot re-test before the next working day, and one fee covers three attempts within six months. A crash, weaving, failing to yield, running a stop sign or light, excessive speeding, turning into oncoming traffic, or driving on the wrong side forces a 30-day wait before you can try again.
